Can pregnant women receive our head spa treatments?
Yes. Our treatments are safe during pregnancy, with adjustable bed options to ensure comfort at every stage.
How do I book with a gift voucher?
You can book using your gift voucher online or via phone. When booking online, once at the payment stage of the booking, you will be prompted to enter your gift voucher code. The deposit amount will be taken from the voucher – with the remainder of the amount being finalised on the day of your appointment. Please bring your gift voucher or code with you on the day of your appointment.
Do I need to arrive with clean hair?
No, you are welcome to arrive at any stage of your hair wash cycle.
Will I need to undress?
We provide a comfortable gown for you to change into for the duration of your treatment.
How often should I have a head spa?
There is no limit to how often you could have a head spa and each guest is different. As per our consultation, we can guide you and provide a personalised recommendation, but generally we suggest a minimum of once every three months.
Can I choose a specific therapist?
At present, this is not an option within our booking system.
What if I’m running late?
We offer a grace period of 15 minutes, although your treatment time will be reduced. No shows and cancellations 48 hours prior to the appointment will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
Is there parking available nearby?
Street parking is available on James Street (2 hours unless otherwise signed). Kent Street also offers parking, with 2 hours parking available on the right-hand side, when turning left from James Street, and unlimited parking available on the left-hand side.

GIFT CARDS
What’s the difference between a Gift Card and a Gift Package?
A Gift Card loads a dollar value that the recipient can redeem when they book. A Gift Package optionally pairs a dollar value gift voucher with a beautifully curated set of luxury physical gifts — a complete atama experience to give and to receive.
How does the recipient redeem a gift card?
Online via our secure checkout (look for “Shop gift vouchers”) or in-salon at Shop 2/92 James Street, Brisbane.
How does the recipient redeem a gift card?
They can redeem online or by phone. At checkout, they simply enter their gift voucher code; the deposit is taken from the voucher and the balance is finalised at their appointment. Please bring the voucher or code on the day.
Can a gift card be used to pay the booking deposit?
Yes. Enter the code at the payment step when booking online and the deposit will be drawn from the voucher.
Do gift cards expire?
Gift cards are valid for 3 years from purchase (in line with Australian standards).
Can gift cards be refunded?
Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash, except as required by law. They are transferable — feel free to gift them onward.
What if my gift card is lost?
Email us with your purchaser details and we’ll do our best to locate and reissue the code securely.
Can you accommodate couples or groups using gift vouchers?
We can welcome up to three guests at a time. Message or call us and we’ll coordinate your booking.
Can I use my gift card to purchase a gift package?
No. atama gift cards are only redeemable on treatments.

What’s included in a Gift Package?
A curated selection of luxury physical gifts to match the occasion, recipient, or “feeling” (think: For Her/Him, New Parents, Birthday, Gratitude, etc.).
Do you offer e-gift delivery?
Yes. Digital gift cards are emailed instantly. Physical gift packages are prepared with care in our signature presentation for pick-up or delivery (delivery options shown at checkout).
Do you offer same-day local drop-offs?
Yes. We offer same-day drop-offs for gift vouchers and gift packages within the Brisbane metropolitan area during the week leading up to Christmas. This can be selected at checkout. An additional delivery fee applies and availability is limited. Select “Same-day Local Drop-off (Xmas Week)” at checkout.

What are your shipping times?
We ship with Australia Post.
Express Post: next-business-day delivery to most metro postcodes.
Standard Post: typically 2+ business days (allow extra time for regional/remote areas).
Same-day dispatch (weekdays): Order any Gift Package before 12:00pm AEST (Mon–Fri) and we’ll dispatch it by 4:00pm the same day. Orders after 12:00pm or on weekends/public holidays ship the next business day.
Tracking: You’ll receive an Australia Post tracking number once your order is on the way.
Peak & delays: Timeframes are estimates provided by Australia Post and can vary during peak periods or due to weather/network delays.
Brisbane-only festive option: During the week leading up to Christmas, we offer same-day, in-house local drop-offs for gift vouchers and gift packages within the Brisbanemetropolitan area (Mon–Fri) for an additional fee. Limited daily slots—choose “Same-day Local Drop-off (Xmas Week)” at checkout or contact us to arrange.
